like always
I probably make a post like this every year, but seriously, I can't wait for summer to be here! It doesn't feel like spring at all with the weather we've been having. That's probably why spring and fall are usually my least favorite seasons. I just want to take Isabelle out for a walk around the neighborhood. Fortunately, we have been able to take her out twice for walks, but she was sleeping as usual. She didn't wake up until we stepped right into the lobby of the apartment. Great timing, just when we finished! Oh well, maybe next time. I really look forward to it.

my first post
The reason why I have a new blog is because my life has drastically changed so much that I didn't want some of my high school and college "friends" to know what I really have been up to lately. I guess my actions would say that I'm ashamed of how I went about with my life but I do not regret how everything played out. It's just that I never anticipated I would be married and have a baby so soon. Now that I'm starting a new chapter in my life, I might as well start a new blog too.
After having about a year of hiatus of doing absolutely nothing, I'm ready to go back to school even though I know it will be tough because I have a baby to take care of. But you know what, I'm ready for it. I might be killing myself with overtime but I can't stand staying in the house all day. I don't know how my mom did it in the past--there is no way she is persuading me out of school (she doesn't agree with me going back).
Now that I'm independent of my parents, I feel like my mom is trying to control my life. For example, telling me NOT to breastfeed (she is afraid I'm starving Isabelle but that is clearly not true because she is gaining good weight each time I bring her to the pediatrician), telling me what to put on Isabelle for her one month party (it's my baby!), and telling me not to go to school (my life!). It's a good thing I don't live with her because I think I would go insane. So thank goodness I don't have to hear from her each time. As long as I don't bring it up or talk about it with her, it's all good.
